Box 909 <br />Pleasanton CA 94566 <br /> <br />RE: CITY OF PLEASANTON POLICE FACILITY DISPATCH REMODEL <br />FEE PROPOSAL <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Jost: <br /> <br />We are pleased to submit the following proposal to provide Architectural, Electrical and Security Electronic <br />services for completion ofthe Pleasanton Police Department Dispatch remodeling project. As we have discussed I <br />have reduced my hourly rate from $1501hr to $100 and have treated the Construction Admin. as a T&M fee. We <br />now have only $17,700 for GMA through the CD and Bidding phases. OnLine Security Electronic has $9,040 <br />allocated for these same phases so you may wish to have their services handled directly by someone else. <br /> <br />1.0 PROJECT DISCRIPTION - Work includes remodeling of the existing dispatch facility as indicated on <br />GMA's schematic design plans AI and A2 dated 11/28/05. As indicated on these plans, the existing <br />window wall will be pushed out towards the Records' area, the existing columnlbeam assembly will <br />remain and a new Break Room will be created at the current Records/Communications Supervisor's office. <br />The existing restroom will remain "as is" but include cosmetic remodeling. In addition, a new <br />Records/Communications Supervisor's office will be relocated off of the hallway adjacent to the Chiefs <br />office and a new door into Records will be installed across from this office. <br /> <br />2.0 SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />2.1 Design DevelopmenUConstruction Documents - Refine the schematic plan. Develop a lighting <br />and power plan and a door and room finish schedules. Complete construction documents including <br />specifications suitable for submittal to the Building and Fire Departments. Upon completion of <br />building and Fire Dept. review, make all necessary corrections and submit for Public Bid. <br />Coordinate Mechanical work with City's Mechanical consultant. <br /> <br />2.2 Bidding - Assist City in issuing the project for bid. Answer contractor questions and issue <br />addenda as required. <br /> <br />2.3 Constrnction Administration - Attend bi-weekly project meetings (once every other week). <br />Respond to RFI' s and review shop drawing submittals. Review the work in progress at appropriate <br />intervals and prepare one punchlist. Upon notification that punchlist work is completed, review the <br />work for confonnance.
