Feels like the applicant is just trying to wear down the opposition to get what they want. o It is trying to have to keep fighting to protect their neighborhood against the false claims by the applicant. As a neighbor, I would like to let you know that I opposed the initial application and am firmly opposed to this modification as well. Even at its current size, the daycare at the Thuse's already creates traffic congestion and inconvenience to the neighbors. We live in a residential neighborhood where the houses are situated very closely together, the backyards are not large enough for a huge group of children, the streets are narrow, and there is limited street parking for the residents as it is. 1 don't understand how the Thuses were allowed to run the current daycare out of their home in the first place. Can you let me know whether the Thuses are even legally allowed to run a daycare at its current capacity out of their 5276 Genovesio home? Was an application approved by the City of Pleasanton for this location without the neighbors being notified? Additionally, I understand that the Thuses have indicated that they now have the support of their neighbors. I can assure you that this is incorrect, as many of us are still adamantly opposed to expanding the daycare out of their home. Any light you can shed on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
