The park site
described includes the current Wayside Park, the current Fire Station, and also
the property between them, now owned by the County (i.e., the portion of
the Railroad Corridor between the Fire Station and First St.).

SUMMARY
Site area:
Constr. costs
Includes:
Not included:

3.17 acres
$ 1.48 million
Park Improvements.
Cultural Arts Center, C. Henderson Bandstand,
Parking, etc., in Railroad Corridor, north of site,
Soft costs (e.g., survey, consultants, permits, fees, etc.)

The very preliminary nature of the project means that
these costs may vary. I believe that a general cost
range for the park itself could be from approximately
$ 1.3 million to $ 1.75 million.

The costs of the bandstand could range from
approximately $ 25,000 (for a simple concrete
platform)' to well over $ 500,000 for a structure meant
for the performing arts.

Additional Notes: The cost of plazas at the Cultural Arts Centet and at
Neal St. are included, as are costs for the stretch of the
Regional Trail that will be located within the park.

Cost range:

I hope that this is helpful. Please let me know if you have any further
comments or questions.

Sincerely,

Richard
