Review the bids received, and award a construction contract for the <br />subject project to Suarez and Munoz Construction Company, for the <br />low bid of$359,750. <br /> <br />2. Authorize the transfer of $143,115 to this project from the Parks <br />Renovation Fund, Account No. 047027 (Irrigation Renovation, Area <br />3), and $18,539 from CIP No. 027012 (Fairlands Park Irrigation <br />Renovation); and <br /> <br />3. Authorize the City Manager to execute a contract for the project. <br /> <br />SUMMARY: <br /> <br />Competitive bids have been received for the Amador Valley Community <br />Park Field Renovation Project, and staff is recommending award of a <br />construction contract to the low bidder, Suarez and Munoz Construction <br />Company, in the amount of $359,750. The project consists of the complete <br />re-grading and planting of turf in the eastern half of the park, including <br />irrigation system replacement and other related improvements. The overall <br />area of work is approximately 12 acres in size. <br /> <br />SR 06:011 <br />Page I <br />
