CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA ORDINANCE NO. 1927 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF FRANK & BARBARA BERLOGAR AND KENNETH & PATRICIA CHRISMAN FOR PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT MAJOR MODIFICATION, AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-05-1M WHEREAS, Frank & Barbara Berlogar and Kenneth & Pamela Chrisman have applied for a major modification to an approved Planned Unit Development (PUD) development plan to replace the approved house design plans with design guidelines and to separate the development of the overall project into two phases for the 13.2-acre site located at 1944 and 2200 Vineyard Avenue, in the Vineyard A venue Corridor Specific Plan Area; and WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD-LDR (Planned Unit Development -Low Density Residential) District; and WHEREAS, an environmental review for the proposed project was undertaken with the Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the Vineyard A venue Corridor Specific Plan, certified by the City Council in March 1999; and WHEREAS, there are no substantial changes to the project or to the circumstances under which the project is undertaken that involve new significant environmental effects or substantially increase the severity of previously identified effects, and there is no new information of substantial importance not known at the time the EIR was certified regarding the projects or its effects, mitigation measures, or alternatives; therefore, no additional environmental documentation was prepared for this application; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 10, 2005, the Planning Commission recommended approval of the modification to the PUD development plan; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on September 20,2005; and WHEREAS, the City Council fmds that the PUD major modification is consistent with the General Plan policies and the purposes of the PUD ordinance of the City of Pleasanton.
