<br />City of Pleasant on Resolution No. 05-065 <br />DSRSD Resolution No. 35-05 <br />Zone 7 Water Agency Resolution No. 06-2783 <br />other options to further improve water quality be evaluated in the ongoing biannual review of <br />the Water Quality Policy; and <br />WHEREAS, the Dublin San Ramon Services District and the City of Pleasant on <br />understand that the acceleration ofproject schedules, and the implementation of additional <br />improvements to water quality may result in added costs to their customers; and; <br />WHEREAS, on May 13, 2005 a special meeting involving members of the City <br />Council of the City of Pleasant on, the Board of Directors of the Dublin San Ramon Services <br />District and the Board of Directors of the Zone 7 Water Agency was held for the purpose of <br />discussing mutual concerns about the taste, odor and hardness of the water received by the <br />customers of all three agencies; and <br />WHEREAS, the participants at that meeting expressed a shared desire to take prudent <br />and practical steps to improve the taste and reduce the odor and hardness of the delivered <br />water; and <br />WHEREAS, the road to improve the taste and to reduce the odor and hardness of the <br />delivered water will include new facilities, operational considerations and financial decisions <br />in which all three agencies have an interest; and <br />WHEREAS, another meeting involving members of the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton, the Board of Directors of the Dublin San Ramon Services District and the Board <br />of Directors of the Zone 7 Water Agency was held on August 1,2005; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council ofthe City of Pleasant on, the Board of Directors ofthe <br />Dublin San Ramon Services District and the Board of Directors of the Zone 7 Water Agency <br />wish to express their mutual commitment to work together for the benefit of the common <br />customers they all serve. <br />2 <br />
