Co <br /> <br />student from Harvest Park Middle School, one (1) Pleasan~on Middle School, one <br />(1) ~t. from Thom~ S. I'I~,M/dd~ $~hool, one (1) studen~ fl~m Village <br />High School, four (4) at large-student-representatives from grades 8-12 and one <br />(1) adult commissioner shall be selected from the community-at-large. <br /> <br />T~ two (2) alternate youth representatives shall be from grades 8-t2 and shall be <br />selected from the community-at-large. The one (I) adult commissioner shall be <br />selected from the community at large. <br /> <br />The regular commissioners and the alternate commissioners shall be appointed by <br />the Mayor subject to ratification by the City Council, as provided in the adopted <br />City resolution establishing procedures for appointments to boards and <br />commissions. <br /> <br />Commissioners shall be eligible to participate in all activities of the commission <br />except that the alternate commissioner shall vote only in the event of an absence <br />or conflict of interest of one of the regular youth commissioners. <br /> <br />The alternate commissioners may serve as a voting member on any subcommittee <br />of the commission. <br /> <br />2.29.040 Term of Memb~rshio: <br />A. Reg~ular Youth Commissioner shall be eligible to serve a maximum of four years <br /> with two terms of two (2) year terms. <br /> <br />The regular Adult Commissioner shall be eligible to serve a maximum term of <br />eight years with two four (4) year terms. <br /> <br />The alternate youth commissioners shall be eligible to serve two-year terms and <br />are not subject to a limit in the number of year~ served approVed that their grade <br />level does not exceed the twelfth grade. The alternate adult member shall be <br />eligible to serve four-year terms and are not subject to the limit in the number of <br />years served. <br /> <br />The term ora commissioner shall be consistent with and subject to City Council <br />resolution concerning limiting service on boards and commissions. <br /> <br />2.29.050 lVl~intenauce of,Membership: <br />A. Persons appointed to the commission shall cominue to serve as members of the <br /> commission except when: <br /> <br />1. The commissioner's term of office on the Commission expires: <br />2.
