2.32.040 T~rm of Membershim <br />A. Relular commissioners shall be eligible to serve a maximum <br />two four (4) v~ar terms. <br /> <br />of eight years with <br /> <br />B. Alternate commissioners ;shall be elieible to serve four-year terms and are not <br />subiect to a limit in the number of years served. <br /> <br />C. The term of a commissioner shall be consistent with and subject to City Council <br />re~lution concerning limitin~ service on boards and commissions. <br /> <br />232.050 Maintenance Of Membership: <br />A. . Persons an~ointed t° the Commission shall continue to serve as members of the <br />¢~mmission excem when.' <br /> <br />1. TJ]~, commissioner's term of office on the Commission exnires: <br /> <br />2. The commissioner voluntarih' resigns from the Commission; <br /> <br />3. The commi;ssioner i$ absent from one-third (1/3) of the reeular meetines <br />within a six (6~ month oefiod as vrovided in section ':C" below. <br /> <br />4 The commissioner fails to maintain a nrimarv residence in the City. <br /> <br />5. The commissioner is employed bv the City in a capacity related to the duties of <br />the Commission. <br /> <br />B. The Secretary of the Commission shall inform the Council when any of the above <br />occurs, <br /> <br />C. TI~ foll0wimt procedures shall apply to termination of office as a result of <br />absences from Commission meetines: <br /> <br />1. At the end of each six-month period, the Secretary of thc Commission shall <br />rel~ort the aide,dance record of each member of the Commission to the city <br />manager, who shall transmit the record to the City Council <br /> <br /> <br />
