7. Advise the City Council. regarding the emphasis and priorities in the <br />preparation of the annual recreation budget and a long-range capital improvement <br />program. The Commission shall hove five regular commissioners, one alternate <br />commissioner all of whom shall be rqsidems 0fthe Ci~'. <br /> <br />B. The five (5) reeular commissioners 0nd the one (1) alternate commissioner shall <br />be selected from the communitv-at-laree. The regular commissioners and alternate <br />commissioner shall be a~oiuted bv the Mayor. subject to the ratification bv the City <br />Council. as ~rovided in the adopted City Council resolution establishinn ~rocedures for <br />appointments to boards and commissions. <br /> <br />C. Colnmissioners shall ~?e eligible to panicinate in all activities of the Commission <br />except that the alternate commissioner shall vote. 0nlv,in the event oran absence or <br />conflict of interest of one of the regular commissioners. <br /> <br />D. The alternate commissioner may sen,e as a voting member on any subcom nittee <br />of the Commiss on and may be designated as the Commission's representative to other <br />b0grds and commissions. <br /> <br />F, Commissioners shall be compensated as established by City Council resolution. <br /> <br /> <br />
