Exhibit B Conditions of Approval PAP-81/PDUP-7 Large Family Daycare Home 5574 Paseo Navarro October 4, 2005 1. The large family day care home covered by this approval shall substantially conform the narrative, site plan and floor plan, dated "Received, March 8, 2005," listed as Exhibit "A", on file with the Planning Department, except as modified by the following conditions. Minor changes to the plans may be allowed subject to the approval of the Planning Director if found to be in substantial conformance to the approved exhibits. 2. All appropriate State licenses for a large family day care home shall be secured and maintained during the entire time the residence is utilized as a large family day care home. 3. The applicant shall prepare flyers for, and distribute flyers to, all existing and future clients, as well as neighbors residing on Paseo Navarro within a 300-foot radius of the applicant's home. A letter agreeing to the terms of the flyer shall be signed by all daycare clients and be kept on file at the daycare facility along with the flyer. The flyers shall include the phone number of the applicant to encourage neighbors to phone her in the event of a problem. In addition, the flyers shall state: . Daycare patrons should use on-street parking spaces directly in front of the daycare home, when available; . Daycare patrons may use other on-street parking spaces provided that children are escorted or can safely travel between the daycare home and parking; . Daycare patrons shall drive safely and follow all traffic regulations on Paseo Navarro and the surrounding neighborhood and be rnindful of adjacent property owners' concerns when driving to and from the site; . Daycare patrons shall not make U-turns or park in the neighboring driveways; . Under no circumstances shall daycare patrons double park, park in the middle of the street or park the wrong way on Paseo Navarro; . Daycare patrons shall turn off their engines when parked during pick-up and drop-off periods; . Barring an emergency, daycare clients shall not blow their car horns while picking up and dropping off their children.
