3. Every permit issued in accordance with these provisions shall be valid for a <br />period of one (1) year from the date of issuance. <br /> <br />4. Applications for renewal of a permit shall be filed in the same manner as for an <br />original application for permit. Each application shall be accompanied by a renewal fee <br />as specified by resolution adopted by City Council. <br /> <br />5. The Chief shall have the authority to suspend or revoke a permit where there <br />evidence of incompetence, willful, or negligent fraud or failure to perform properly and <br />effectively the duties assumed by the person issued the permit. <br /> <br />· 20.24.160 UFC Section 1007.3.3.6 added-Fire Alarm System Monitoring <br /> <br />UFC Section 1007.3.3.6.3 is added to the Uniform Fire Code to read: <br /> <br />1. Alarm System Requirements. All fire alarm or automatic fire extinguishing system <br />installed in accordance with this Article shall meet the following requirements: <br /> <br />(a) All fire sprinkler system devices and fire alarm systems installed in accordance with this <br />article shall be Underwriters Laboratory (UL) Central Station Service Certificated in <br />accordance with NFPA 72-1996 Edition. <br /> <br />(b) All fire alarm systems required by the Fire Prevention Bureau to have more than one zone <br />shall be locally armunciated by zone and shall be transmitted to the public fire service <br />communications center by zone. <br /> <br />(c) Final (as built) plans including a copy of "Alarm Information" shall be maintained <br />and on file at the control panel or other on- site location (Key-lock Box) approved by <br />the Fire Departmere. When digital signaling is provided, a copy of the programming <br />sheet shall be provided to the Livermore Pleasamon Fire Department as part of the plan <br />approval process. <br /> <br />· 20.24.170 UFC Section 1007.2.1.4 added-Fire Alarm Systems - Existing <br /> Building. <br /> <br />UFC Section 1007.2.1.4 is added to the Uniform Fire Code by adding the following: <br />Section 1007.2.1.4 <br /> <br />Existing Fire Alarm Systems. Existing fire alarm system shall be Underwriters Laboratories <br />(UL) Certi~cated Central Station Service. Where applicable, deviations shall be permitted to <br />be granted by the Fire Prevention Bureau. <br /> <br /> <br />
