MATTERS INITIATED BY MEMBERS OF THE COMMISSION <br /> Chairperson Stark recognized staff's efforts in putting together the recent Housing Expo <br /> that was held on Saturday, June 4, at CarrAmerica Center in Pleasanton. He felt that the <br /> event was a great success and lauded staff for their efforts in coordinating the event. <br />10. DISCUSSION OF AGENDA FOR JULY 21, 2005, MEETING <br /> Scott Erickson noted that staff hopes to bring the senior housing guidelines back to the <br /> Commission for review and approval at the July meeting. In addition, the developer of <br /> the Auf der Maur property on Vineyard A venue is expected to be submitting a <br /> preliminary plan for developing the property either at the July or the August meeting. <br /> Steven Bocian noted that staff will soon have information for the Commission's review <br /> regarding the final elements of the assisted living facility project. The item is tentatively <br /> scheduled to go to the City Council on either July 19 or August 2, and the Commission <br /> would need to hold its review prior to that date. Chairperson Stark requested that staff try <br /> to provide information via e-mail in advance of the meetings to help expedite the <br /> Commission's review. <br /> Commissioner Wiest asked for an update on the Gardens at Ironwood senior apartments <br /> on the Busch property. Specifically, he would like information on the lease-up process, <br /> problems, successes, and related matters. Steven Bocian noted that staff has recently had <br /> discussions with the owner of the complex regarding opportunities to further enhance and <br /> increase the affordability. <br />11.
