The project looks pretty good, and my comments are largely limited to details
and fInish. My comments are as follows:
1. Some elements of the design, primarily side and rear walls, seem shaded more toward a ~ineteenth Century frontier
style than the front elevations - especially those of the single units facing Peters Avenue. This is, I think, a result of
rather large belly bands and wide trim at the window sills. .-1.5 I look at the immediate surroundings, I am struck by the
detail on the Craftsman Style house adjacent to this property on Peters Avenue and on the two story house with large
front porch across St. Johns Street. Even the older, simple home adjacent to the northwest on St. Johns Street and the
larger residential complex across St. Johns have a certain small scale and refinement of detail.
.,-.,
Craftsman Style house on Peters Ave. House across St. Johns Street
House northwest on St. Johns Street Residential across Sf.
