<br />POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />69. The area of the development shall be tested for strength and clarity of signal <br /> to and from the area for City emergency services communications <br /> including, but not limited to, City eight-hundred megahertz (800 mgh) <br /> trunked radio, Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Services radio, Alameda County <br /> eight-hundred megahertz (800 mgh) trunked radio, CLEMAR/ Police <br /> Dispatch, and the current police mobile data system, unless waived by the <br /> Police Department, City of Pleasanton. Expert opinions may be required in <br /> anticipation of communications difficulties inside or around large <br /> structures. Mitigation plans of less than acceptable communications shall <br /> be submitted to the satisfaction of the Police Department prior to approval <br /> and shall be financed by the applicant immediately upon approval. <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />70. The buildings shall be equipped with automatic fire suppression <br /> systems (sprinklers) as required by the Fire Department. <br />71. The applicant shall post address numerals on the building so as to be <br /> plainly visible from all adjoining streets or driveways during both <br /> daylight and night time hours. <br />72. The applicant shall meet all requirements of the Pleasanton Fire <br /> Code (Pleasanton Municipal Code, Chapter 20.24). <br />73. The applicant shall keep the site free of fire hazards from the start of <br /> lumber construction until the final inspection. <br />74. Prior to any construction framing, the applicant shall provide <br /> adequate fire protection facilities, including, but not limited to <br /> surface roads, fire hydrants, and a water supply and water flow in <br /> conformance to the City's Fire Department Standards able to <br /> suppress a major fire. When alternate methods of fire protection are <br /> approved by the Fire Chief, this requirement may be waived or <br /> modified. Proposed alternative methods of fire protection shall be <br /> submitted in writing to the Fire Chief prior to any framing <br /> construction. Work on the alternative fire protection methods shall <br /> not begin until approved by the Fire Chief. <br />75.
