Roof trusses shall be "engineered" to handle an additional load as <br /> determined by a structural engmeer to accommodate the <br /> additional weight of a prototypical photovoitaic system beyond <br /> that anticipated for rooting; <br /> c. An area shall be provided near the electrical panel for the <br /> .'inverter" required to convert the direct current output from the <br /> photovoitaic panels to alternating current; and <br /> d. A bi-directional electrical meter shall be installed. <br /> These measures shall be shown on the building permit plan sets. The <br /> applicant shall provide to the future homebuyers the necessary information <br /> delineating the means by which photovoitaic panels can be applied to the <br /> roofs of the structures covered by this approval. This information shall be <br /> submitted to the Director of Planning for review and approval prior to <br /> occupancy of the tirst unit, ifrequired. <br />Other Planning Conditions <br />41. All plans submitted for the issuance of a building permit must <br /> include a bar scale. <br />42. Prior approval from the Planning Department must be received <br /> before any changes are constituted in site design, grading, building <br /> design, building colors, or materials, landscape material, etc. <br />43. Approved building materials and colors shall be stated on the plans <br /> submitted for issuance of building permits. The applicant may <br /> substitute single plank horizontal Hardi plank wood siding for the <br /> proposed wood siding. <br />44. The applicant shall effectively screen from view all ducts, vents, <br /> meters, air conditioning equipment, and any other mechanical <br /> equipment, whether on the structure, on the ground, or on the roof. <br /> with materials architecturally compatible with the main structure. <br /> Screening details shall be shown on the plans submitted for issuance <br /> of building permits, the adequacy of which shall be determined by <br /> the Planning Director.
