At <br /> buildout, the total square footage of the Church facility would be increased from the current <br /> 9,060 square feet to approximately 29,905 square feet in building area, and the seating capacity <br /> in the worship area would be increased from the existing 250 seats to 450 seats. To support the <br /> phased expansions, the existing parking lot would be reconfigured and expanded by 9 spaces. A <br /> total of 75 parking spaces would be provided and would be added during Phase II construction. <br /> The existing parking area will be reconfigured and expanded to the northwest area of the site. <br /> The two parking areas are.joined by a 20-foot fire access aisle to be able to reach all building <br /> areas. <br /> <br /> DISCUSSION <br /> <br /> Facilitation Process <br /> <br />On, August 1, 2005, Ms. Willits, the City Manager, Ms. Connie Cox (the Valley Trails <br />Neighborhood representative), and Mr. Dave Willmore (the Church's representative) met to <br />discuss the facilitation process. Those discussions outlined the ground rules and determined the <br />number of representatives from each interest group for the process to be successful. A tentative <br />meeting schedule was established that seemed workable. <br /> <br />On Monday, August 8, 2005, Ms. Willits and the City Manager attended the Valley Trails <br />Neighborhood Association meeting to discuss St. Clare's proposed expansion. Only <br />representatives from the neighborhood association were in attendance to talk about their <br />preferences and concerns related to the expansion. <br /> <br />SR:05:244 <br />Page 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
