position, would Alameda County Fairgrounds assist with funding; 3) could it be done at a location like <br />Pleasanton Middle School if the City provided insurance; and 4) should the City Council be approached <br />on this issue? <br /> <br />Commissioner Ellgas expressed concern about the reasons given by the County Sheriff and Fire <br />Departments for not providing a July 4th fireworks display. Commissioner Pentin thought that staffing <br />costs for such an event could be a big issue for the SherifFs Department.
