Landbase updates for example will be digitized using metes and bounds descriptions
fi.om record drawings. All overlay features will use object snapping procedures.

Lynx will transition all data to a geodatabase format (personal/MSSQL) and will follow general
design and implementation guidelines set by the City and the Enterprise system development
discussed below.

B) Ongoing GIS Consulting Services

The following themes reflect outstanding city assets that can be developed with the new fiscal
year:
· Rectification of Basemap Features Using 2005 Orthophotography
· Resolve Fire-based and basemap-based road features
· Street Lights and Traffic Control Devices
· Street Signs
· Street Striping and Legends
· Tree Inventory
· Street network applications such as Pavement Condition using ArcGIS Linear
Referencing technology

This summer the City will acquire new digital orthophotography that will help to realign areas
not covered in the previous flight, and to update areas stemming f~om new construction. Known
areas include: 1) Revisions to the 580/680 interchange, 2) Vineyard Avenue realignment, and 3)
the Kilkare Canyon/Sphere of Influence area west of the city limits.
