Any new <br />street connectors to the regional route should be reviewed for their potential to attract cut- <br />through trips and be designed to minimize their attractiveness for this trip purpose. <br /> <br />Methods to improve regional facilities have been widely discussed, and a number of <br />initiatives are moving forward (and are assumed in the 2025 projections).
