7.12.030 Term. The effective period of each dog license issued shall be in an increment of one~ <br />two, or three years from the date of issuance, not to exceed the dog's rabies vaccination <br /> <br />7.12.040 - 7.12.070, no change. <br /> <br />7.12.080 Tag must be shown. No pcrazn owner of a dog shall fail or refuse to show to thee <br />Chief of Police~;.rzctzr, deputy sheriffs or any police officer the license certificate and the tag for <br /> <br />7.12.090 - 7.12.120, no change." <br /> <br />Section 4: Chapter 7.16 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code shall be amended to read as <br />follows: <br /> <br />"Chapter 7.16 Dogs Rmmi~at Large <br /> <br />7.16.010 Dogs at large - Unlawful. <br /> <br />A. Except as permitted in this Section and Section 13.08.080 of this Code, it shall be <br /> unlawful for any owner of a dog to permit such dog, whether licensed or unlicensed, to be <br /> at large. <br />B. Nothing in this Chapter shall prohibit a dog from being used without leash to herd, guard, <br /> gather, or otherwise work domestic animals or fowl in or upon a public or private place <br /> with the consent of the person in charge of the place so long as the dog is controlled by <br /> the dog's owner, and so long as the dog does not wrongfully harm or damage or threaten <br /> to harm or damage any person or public or private property." <br /> <br /> Section 5: Chapter 7.24 (Impounding of Animals) of the Pleasanton Municipal Code shall be <br /> amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />
