Section 2: Chapter 7.08 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code shall be amended to read as <br />follows: <br /> <br />"Chapter 7.08 Animal Nuisances <br /> <br /> 7.08.010 Designated: It is unlawful and a nuisance for any <br /> -.-~'~";"~.--.o '~'-.~ ............. ~ .~. ~o.~j~" of any animal to knowingly permit or ;uffcr, allow cr tolerate the <br /> animal, by any barking or other noise or sound of loudness, duration and location, to disturb <br /> any reasonable person's peace and quiet. This Section shall not be construed to prohibit the <br /> keeping of any watchdog, provided the ownerkeope~ thereof takes immediate steps to quiet the <br /> dog whenever it barks; and provided such ownerkeepcr never leaves such dog unattended on <br /> the premises in a place where its barking would disturb a reasonable person's peace and quiet. <br /> <br />Section 3: Chapter 7.12 of the Pleasantun Municipal Code shall be amended to read as <br />follows: <br /> <br />"Chapter 7.12 Dog Licenses <br /> <br />7.12.010 Required. Any resident of the City who is an owner of a dog over four months of age <br />shall have a current ' ~ .............. :'~':- <br /> dog hcense tag for the dog ..... ~ ~. ....................... _ <br /> <br />7.12.020 Exemptions. This chapter does not apply when a dog accompanies an owner who is a <br />nonresident and who is temporarily in the City for a period not exceeding thirty days, or to a dog <br />participating in any bench show, dog exhibition, field trial, or competition, or receiving <br />veterinary care in any dog hospital. <br /> <br /> <br />
