Jost: <br /> <br /> As requested, ENGEO is pleased to provide tNs proposal with fee estimates to initiate G~ <br /> monitoring of the ~moine Ranch propeny upon the City of Pleasanton, C~ifomia's acceptance of <br /> public improwments. <br /> <br /> We propose to initiate twice-a-ye~ site reconn~ssance to smisfy the monitoring mquiremenm of the <br /> G~ PI~ of Control (Reference 1). Prior to the ini6al monitoring ~vent, we will review <br /> previously published geotechnical repoms, geologic maps, and gading "as-builts" for ~e proj~t. <br /> To facilitate the review, we request that project-s~cific geotechnical repoms be made availabl~ to <br /> ENGEO. Meas of pmicul~ concern documented in the Plan of Control and any subsequently <br /> identified ~eas of concern will incoMorated into the site inspection sch~ule. Some of the items <br /> that will be addressed du6ng the monitoring events include: a reconn~ssance of co~on ~a cut <br /> slopes located adjacent to improvements; obse~ation of ~eas of ~own lan&lide rep~r undertaken <br /> during the mass grading operations; obse~ation of ~own readily accessible subdrain outlets <br /> installed during the mass grading; obse~ation of the lined surface drainage ditches and catch basin <br /> inlets for debris; ~d obse~ation of sel~ted curb and gutter ali~ments. We will also review ~eas <br /> of potential slope instability and surface rapture that were documented in e~lier geotechnical <br /> studies and that ~e located adjacent to existing improvements. We will provide the O~ anWor <br /> the owner of the ~moine Easement Area at least three calend~ days written notice or twenty-four <br /> hour personal or telephonic no~ce prior to our regul~ly-scheduled inspection ewnts. <br /> <br /> We propose to conduct two regul~ly-scheduled monitoring events and sub~t one annual <br /> monitoring repom for a fixed-fee of $900 per annum.
