ENGEO Inc.; Amendment 2 to the Laurel Creek Estates GHAD Plan of Control, <br /> Kolb Ranch Estates Annexation into the Laurel Creek Estates Geologic Hazards <br /> Abatement District (GHAD); November 16, 2004; Project No. 6230.1.001.01. <br /> <br /> Dear Mr. Jost: <br /> <br /> As requested, ENGEO is pleased to provide this proposal with fee estimates for continuing geologic <br /> hazard abatement district (GHAD) monitoring of the Laurel Creek Estates (including the Oak Hill <br /> Estates) and initiation of monitoring of the Kolb Ranch Estates upon acceptance of public <br /> improvements in Pleasanton, California. <br /> <br /> For Laurel Creek Estates (including the Oak Hill Estates), we propose to continue performing site <br /> reconnaissance twice a year to satisfy the monitoring requirements of the GHAD (References 1 <br /> and 2). Prior to each monitoring event, areas of particular concern documented in previous reports <br /> and in the Plan of Control will be identified for incorporation into the site inspection schedule. <br /> Some of the items that will be addressed during the monitoring events include a reconnaissance of <br /> common area slopes located adjacent to improvements; observation of areas of known landslide <br /> repair undertaken during the mass grading operations; observation of known readily accessible <br /> subdraln outlets installed during the mass grading; observation of the lined surface drainage ditches <br /> and catch basin inlets for debris; and observation of selected curb and gutter alignments.
