<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-94-44 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMKENDING APPROVAL OF CASE GP-94-01, THE <br />APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON FOR A GENERAL PLAN <br />AMENDMENT TO CLARIFY TRAFFIC STUDY REQUIREMENTS AS THEY RELATE <br />TO SITE SPECIFIC TRAFFIC STUDIES FOR MAJOR DEVELOPMENTS WHICH <br />HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO EXCEED THE LEVEL OF SERVICE (LOS) <br />DESIGNATION OF "D" AS FILED UNDER CASE GP-94-01 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has initiated a General Plan <br />Amendment to clarify traffic study requirements as they <br />relate to site specific traffic studies for major <br />developments which have the potential to exceed the Level <br />of Service (LOS) designation of "D"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of August 31, 1994, the <br />Commission recommended approval of the proposed <br />declaration prepared for Case GP-94-01i and <br /> <br />Planning <br />negative <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing on August 31, 1994, <br />the Planning commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning commission finds that the proposed <br />clarification will provide the specific circulation <br />Element text clarification to support the original <br />interpretation of the existing General Plan. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of Case GP-94-01, the application <br />of the city of Pleasanton for a General Plan Amendment to <br />clarify traffic study requirements as they relate to site <br />specific traffic studies for major developments which have the <br />potential to exceed the Level of Service (LOS) designation of <br />"D," as shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated <br />herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />. . <br />
