Approve the attached professional services contract amendment. <br /> <br /> 2. Authorize the City Manager to execute the attached contract <br /> Amendmem with Ruggeri, Jensen, Azar and Associates (RJA). <br /> <br />SUMMARY: Amendment No. 1 of the Ruggeri, Jensen, Azar and Associates (RJA) <br /> professional services contract, in the amount of $36,480.00, provides for <br /> supplemental geotechnical work and the design of the joint utility trench <br /> (electrical, telephone and gas) associated with the design of the Vineyard <br /> Corridor water reservoir and access road. <br /> <br />Honorable Mayor and Members of the City Council: <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br /> <br />The Vineyard Corridor water reservoir and the water main and access road to the reservoir <br />are included in the second stage of the Phase 3 Vineyard Corridor Water Improvements. The <br />water reservoir and access road is located at the south side of Vineyard Avenue on the <br />Reznick Property. The first stage of these Phase 3 improvements includes a new water pump <br />station and the modification of the Zone 7 Turnout Number 6. These other improvements are <br />located on or adjacent to Fire Station 5 on Vineyard Avenue. These water improvements are <br />designed to serve the entire Vineyard Corridor Specific Plan area. <br /> <br />SR:05:175 <br />Page 1 of 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
