VI. PROPOSAL SUBMISSION <br /> <br />a) Authorization <br /> <br />If an individual is making a proposal, it must be signed with your full name including your <br />address. If a proposal is being made by a partnership, the authorized general partner must sign it <br />with a partnership name and. If proposal is being made by a joint venture, it must be signed with <br />the full name and address of each member of the joint venture. Ifa corporation is making <br />proposal, the president and the secretary in the corporate name shall sign it and the corporate seal <br />shall be affixed. <br /> <br />b) Proposal Delivery <br /> <br />Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope, plainly marked with your company name, <br />address, and telephone number, with "Proposal for City of Pleasanton Continual Custodial <br />Services" clearly visible on the exterior. It is your sole responsibility to see that your proposal is <br />received before the submission deadline. You bear all risks and delays associated with the U.S. <br />mail. <br /> <br />c) AIl proposals must be submitted to the City of Pleasanton, City Clerk's Office, 123 <br /> Main Street, P.O. Box 520, Pleasanton, CA 94566 no later than 2:00 p.m. on April29, <br /> 2005. <br /> <br />VII. SELECTION PROCESS AND EVALUATION CRITERIA <br /> <br />a) Evaluation Criteria <br /> <br />The City will act as the sole judge of the content of all proposals. In soliciting proposals, the <br />City's intent is to have the best possible service within financial constraints. <br /> <br />b) Selection/Evaluation Process <br /> <br />All proposals will be evaluated by the City Staff. As part of the evaluation process, you may be <br />required to attend one or more interviews with City staff. Ifa qualified proposer is identified, a <br />recommendation to award a Service Agreement will be made to the Pleasanton City Council. <br />Any Service Agreement issued as a result of this RFP will be awarded by the Pleasanton City <br />Council. <br /> <br />c) Contract Award <br /> <br />Selection of contractor will be deemed as the most qualified in terms of past experience and <br />statement of references, as well as, but not limited to, offering the most competitive rates. <br /> <br />VIII.
