As stated above, all the necessary public safety measures have been incorporated into the design of the plan. A hammerhead turnaround has been provided on the project site at the terminus of the deadend street. Part of the proposed improvements also include the emergency vehicle access to this private road which would be located on the "flag" portion of an adjacent property also owned by the applicant. 7. The plan conforms to the purposes of the PUD District: The site's hillside topography and location along the rural west side of Foothill Road necessitates the PUD zoning for its development. The proposed plan, as conditioned, will substantially comply with the purpose of the PUD District. No public amenities are necessary to justify the 1.0 unitt acre. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed PUD rezoning is consistent with the General Plan. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: section 1. Recommends approval of Case PUD-91-2, the application of Kay Ku for planned unit development (PUD) rezoning and development plan approval for a three-lot single-family custom home development on an approximately 2.82 acre site located on the west side of Foothill Road at 5130 Foothill Road, subject to the conditions shown on Exhibit "A," attached hereto and made part of this case by reference. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
