CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />VINEYARD & BERNAL AVENUES STREETSCAPE <br />MAY 25, 2004 <br /> <br />A. SCOPE OF WORK <br /> <br />Landscape & Irrigation Plans - <br />CONSULTANT will prepare construction documents based on the <br />approved design development plans and submittal package. These <br />documents shall set the requirements for construction of proposed <br />improvements, project bidding and construction schedules. <br /> <br /> Irrigation Plan that incorporates City standard equipment and details <br />for the medians and streetscapes. <br /> <br /> Planting Plan than incorporates City design guidelines, standards <br />and details for the medians and streetscapes. <br /> <br />· Construction details for the proposed work. <br /> <br /> Prepare technical specifications for the proposed work using City <br />standard specification format, including bid documents with quantities for <br />a unit price construction contract. The specifications will include <br />references to City specifications and the Caltrans Standard <br />Specifications. <br /> <br /> 50%, 95%, and 100% Review Submittal: Submit construction <br />drawings, specifications, and technical specifications for review by the <br />City. Address review comments. <br /> <br /> Prepare final statement of probable construction costs based on final <br />construction documents with bid items and unit prices. <br /> <br />4.2. Technical Specifications - CONSULTANT shall prepare draft technical <br /> special provisions for each project element identified on the plans per City <br /> standard special provisions. Consultant shall prepare special provisions <br /> in city format. In addition to special provisions for each item of work on <br /> the plans, the special provisions will also include very specific <br /> requirements for: <br /> <br /> Pedestrian Safety Plan, <br />· Bi-Monthly Utility Meetings Hosted by Contractor (with meeting <br /> minutes), <br />· Notification of Adjacent Property Owners by Contractor, <br />· SWPPP & Bump's, <br />· Potholing Reports by Contractor <br />· Quality control surveying of curb forms, prior to pouring concrete <br />· Submittal of Survey Calks 3 days prior to each survey operation <br /> <br />8 <br /> <br /> <br />
