<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-93-70 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />FOR THE APPLICATION OF PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY OF NORTH <br />AMERICA FOR DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL AS FILED UNDER CASE <br />PUD-8S-8-SD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Prudential Insurance Company of North America has applied <br />for development plan approval to construct an <br />approximately 126,390 square foot retail store on a 15.06 <br />acre portion of a 32.3 acre site located at the northeast <br />corner of Hacienda Drive and Owens Drive in the Hacienda <br />Business Park; and <br /> <br />at its meeting of December <br />Commission received a proposed <br />Case PUD-85-8-5D; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial study dated October 19, 1993, and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br /> <br />8, 1993, the Planning <br />negative declaration for <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br />public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br />environmental impacts of the proposal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that approval of the <br />proposed project would not have any significant adverse <br />effects on the environment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />section 1. Approves the Negative Declaration prepared for the <br />application of Prudential Insurance Company of North <br />America for development plan approval to construct an <br />approximately 126,390 square foot retail store on a 15.06 <br />acre portion of a 32.3 acre site located at the northeast <br />corner of Hacienda Drive and Owens Drive in the Hacienda <br />Business Park. <br /> <br />section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />- <br />
