B. The proposed location of the conditional use and the conditions under which it would be operated or maintained will not be detrimental to the public health, safety, or welfare, or materially injurious to the properties or improvements in the vicinity. Given the proposed limited hours of operation for the church's use of the tent, it will not impact surrounding uses. Also, the proposed use has adequate parking in the vicinity to meet the anticipated demand. While the proposed use will create noise, the applicant's method of operation will mitigate any impacts on adjacent neighbors. In addition, no permanent alterations to the subject site or building are proposed. C. The proposed conditional use will comply with each of the applicable provisions of this chapter. As conditioned, the proposed use will all provisions and requirements of zoning ordinance. comply with the city's WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act; and WHEREAS, the proposed use would be compatible with the surrounding neighborhood and would not detrimentally affect the surrounding uses or properties. Conditions of approval have been included which will ensure that the safety and general welfare of the surrounding neighborhood is maintained. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASAHTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: section 1. Approves Case UP-91-30, the application of Valley community Church for a conditional use permit to allow the installation of a temporary circus type tent for a week-long children's program (July 28 through August 2, 1991) at the Valley community Church located at 4455 Del Valle Parkway subject to the conditions shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made part of this case by reference. section 2.
