The proposed location of the conditional use and <br />the conditions under which it would be operated or <br />maintained will not be detrimental to the public <br />health, safety, or welfare, or materially injurious <br />to the properties or improvements in the vicinity. <br /> <br />Given the proposed limited hours of operation for <br />the church's use of the tent, it will not impact <br />surrounding uses. Also, the proposed use has <br />adequate parking in the vicinity to meet the <br />anticipated demand. While the proposed use will <br />create noise, the applicant's method of operation <br />will mitigate any impacts on adjacent neighbors. <br />In addition, no permanent alterations to the <br />subject site or building are proposed. <br /> <br />C. The proposed conditional use will comply with each <br />of the applicable provisions of this chapter. <br /> <br />As conditioned, the proposed use will <br />all provisions and requirements of <br />zoning ordinance. <br /> <br />comply with <br />the city's <br /> <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the <br />requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed use would be compatible with the surrounding <br />neighborhood and would not detrimentally affect the <br />surrounding uses or properties. Conditions of approval <br />have been included which will ensure that the safety and <br />general welfare of the surrounding neighborhood is <br />maintained. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASAHTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />section 1. Approves Case UP-91-30, the application of Valley <br />community Church for a conditional use permit to allow <br />the installation of a temporary circus type tent for a <br />week-long children's program (July 28 through August 2, <br />1991) at the Valley community Church located at 4455 Del <br />Valle Parkway subject to the conditions shown on Exhibit <br />"A" attached hereto and made part of this case by <br />reference. <br /> <br />section 2.
