The applicant shall use bubbler and drip irrigation <br />systems in the common open space areas of the <br />development, where feasible, to provide maximum water <br />conservation benefits. Said systems shall be shown on <br />the final landscape and irrigation construction plans and <br />shall be continuously maintained and controlled. <br /> <br />f. Private property owners are encouraged to use drought <br />tolerant landscaping and water conserving irrigation <br />equipment to conserve water. <br /> <br />g. The selection and placement of plants shall maintain an <br />unobstructed line of sight at all intersections <br />especially the new street intersections with Bernal <br />Avenue. <br /> <br />15. Noise <br /> <br />a. Subdivision and house construction work shall be limited <br />to between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday <br />through Friday and between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on <br />weekend days. Heavy earth-moving and paving equipment <br />activities shall be limited to the hours of 7:00 a.m. to <br />6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and, with approval of <br />the City Engineer, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on <br />Saturdays. <br /> <br />b. All noise-generating construction equipment shall meet <br />DMV noise standards and shall be equipped with muffling <br />devices. When necessary, shielding material shall be <br />used for unusually high noise generation areas. <br /> <br />c. Construction traffic shall be directed to use Bernal <br />Avenue between the site and Sunol Boulevard; no <br />construction truck traffic shall use Bernal Avenue north <br />of the site, Junipero street, Angela Street, or any other <br />local street for access to and from the site. <br /> <br />d. All homes exposed to noise levels higher than 60 dB Ldn <br />shall be constructed to allow residents to maintain <br />closed windows for noise control. In homes where closed <br />windows are required for noise control, ventilation and <br />air conditioning systems must be designed to allow <br />adequate interior air quality without the use of open <br />windows for ventilation.
