<br />Vice Chairman Hovingh stated that he is not as unhappy with the project as Commissioner <br />Michelotti and can support it. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Wright, seconded by Commissioner Horan, making <br />the required findings and approving Tentative Tract Map 6447, subject to the conditions of <br />the staff report. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Horan, McGuirk, Michelotti, Wright, and Vice Chairman <br />Hovingh <br />None <br />Chairman Mahem <br />None <br /> <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Resolution No. PC-91-94 was entered and adopted approving Tentative Tract Map 6447 as <br />motioned. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS - PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />UP-91-75. Ladies Fitness Center <br />Application for a conditional use permit to establish a ladies health and fitness center <br />within an existing building located at 4807 Hopyard Road, Suites 1-4 (Gateway Square <br />Shopping Center). Zoning for the property is PUD (planned Unit Development) - <br />Industrial/Commercial - Offices District. <br /> <br />Mr. Swift presented the staff report recommending approval of Case UP-91-75, subject to <br />the conditions of the staff report. He clarified that staff does concur with the sound <br />attenuation and parking measures as discussed with the applicant. <br /> <br />THE PUBLIC HEARING WAS OPENED. <br /> <br />Ira Jones, 4807 Hopyard Road, represented the application. He thanked staff for working <br />with them and felt the staff report was very good. He stated he has reviewed the staff <br />conditions and concurs with them. <br /> <br />Commissioner Michelotti asked the applicant if the fitness center is strictly a "ladies only" <br />center. Mr. Jones affirmed that it is and will remain so. <br /> <br />mE PUBLIC HEARING WAS CWSED. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Michelotti, seconded by Commissioner McGuirk <br />making the Conditional Use Permit fmdings and approving Case UP-91-75 subject to the <br />conditions listed in Exhibit B. <br /> <br />Minutes Planning Commission <br />November 20, 1991 <br /> <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />- <br />
