Vice Chairman Hovingh stated that he is not as unhappy with the project as Commissioner Michelotti and can support it. A motion was made by Commissioner Wright, seconded by Commissioner Horan, making the required findings and approving Tentative Tract Map 6447, subject to the conditions of the staff report. NEW BUSINESS - PUBLIC HEARINGS UP-91-75. Ladies Fitness Center Application for a conditional use permit to establish a ladies health and fitness center within an existing building located at 4807 Hopyard Road, Suites 1-4 (Gateway Square Shopping Center). Zoning for the property is PUD (planned Unit Development) - Industrial/Commercial - Offices District. Mr. Swift presented the staff report recommending approval of Case UP-91-75, subject to the conditions of the staff report. He clarified that staff does concur with the sound attenuation and parking measures as discussed with the applicant. THE PUBLIC HEARING WAS OPENED. Ira Jones, 4807 Hopyard Road, represented the application. He thanked staff for working with them and felt the staff report was very good. He stated he has reviewed the staff conditions and concurs with them. Commissioner Michelotti asked the applicant if the fitness center is strictly a "ladies only" center. Mr. Jones affirmed that it is and will remain so. mE PUBLIC HEARING WAS CWSED.
