The engineering department is of the opinion that <br />it meets city standards for sight distance at this time. <br /> <br />3. Commissioner Hovingh called attention to a previous traffic <br />obstruction at Muirwood North and Foothill Road. Prior to the <br />striping to prevent parking at the right hand curb, a pickup <br />camper was usually parked at that location. commissioner Hovingh <br />wondered if the owner of that vehicle had any other recourse to <br />parking. Mr. Swift commented that the City has the authority to <br />do what is necessary to procure safe conditions on the. streets. <br /> <br />4. Commissioner McGuirk called attention to posts being <br />installed for a wooden fence where the plaster fence ends at <br />Pleasant Hill in the Gold Creek area. The posts are set right to <br />the sidewalk and not in line with the existing plaster fence. <br />Mr. Swift said they were told they could not put the fence there <br />because of not having approval and was not shown on the original <br />plan.
