~ Commissioner Horan asked Mr. Cantrell what type of vehicle the contractor would
drive to the site. Mr. Cantrell indicated it would normally be a pickup. He also
clarified they occupy only Suite A. Christensen Electric is in Suite B. He added
that everything that is moved in the tile warehouse is either moved by pallet with
an electric forklift or by hand.

Commissioner McGuirk said that in visiting the site he noticed a large trailer on the
lot and asked if this belonged to the applicant. Mr. Young said this belongs to the
electric company.

Commissioner Michelotti asked where the applicants unload material. Mr. Young
responded they unload in the back, off Rheem Drive.

Commissioner McGuirk asked if their sign went through Design Review approval.
Mr. Young indicated they simply used the existing sign and painted over it. They
do intend to put some black trim around it.

Discussion ensued as to whether the contractors could arrive at 6:30 am.
Commissioner Hovingh expressed concern that the forklift might be too noisy at
that hour. Mr. Young said the forklift does not make any audible noise that would
affect the neighbors.

r THE PUBLIC HEARING WAS CLOSED.

COMMISSION'S COMMENTS:

A motion was made by Commissioner Michelotti, seconded by Commissioner
McGuirk making the required use permit findings and approving Case UP-91-06
subject to the conditions listed in Exhibit "B," subject to the following modification:

o That Condition 2 be modified to allow the contractors to pick up
materials at 6:30am on weekdays.

ROLL CALL VOTE:

AYES:

Commissioners Horan, Hovingh, McGuirk, Michelotti, and
Chairman Mahern
None
None
None

NOES:
ABSENT:
ABSTAIN:

Resolution No. PC-91-25 was entered and adopted approving Case UP-91-06 as
motioned.

MINUTES PLANNING COMMISSION APRIL 10,1991 Page 4

..

-
