MEETING OPEN FOR ANY MEMBER OF THE AUDIENCE TO ADDRESS THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION ON ANY ITEM WHICH IS NOT ALREADY ON THE <br />AGENDA <br /> <br />There were none. <br /> <br />REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Mr. Swift requested that UP-90-27, Oil Changers, be continued to April 24; and <br />PUD-90-21, Roy Thompson, be continued to May 8. The Commission agreed to <br />these requests. <br /> <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS <br /> <br />1 . ResDonse to inouirv from Commissioner Michelotti reoardino Rose Pavilion <br />Phase III. <br /> <br />Commissioner Michelotti thanked staff for responding to her question. She also <br />noted that at the Design Review Board meeting of April 9, discussion was had as <br />to whether Outdoor World will remain as it is now as a free-standing building. She <br />added it appears that modification can and may be made to do so, and had <br />concerns regarding the appearance of the building and adequate landscaping. <br /> <br />2. Commissioner Wright called staff's attention to a giant "For Sale" sign on <br />condos owned by John Ferreri. He also called attention to the restriping lines of <br />handicapped parking at Safeway. He noted that the space between lines did not <br />appear to be accurate. Mr. Swift indicated he would check on these matters. <br /> <br />3. Commissioner Horan called staff's attention to more window signage at the <br />BMW dealership. Staff will again check on this matter. <br /> <br />4. Commissioner Hovingh asked staff when and if the Commission will consider <br />the Community Facilities Report. Mr. Swift said they have copies of the report and <br />indicated they intend to present it to Council and the various bodies for review and <br />final recommendation as to a plan. The City Manager has opted to delay taking <br />the report to Council until the Capital Improvement Plan is in place. <br /> <br />5. Commissioner Hovingh also called staff's attention to the newspaper collection <br />box at W. Las Positas and Muirwood Drive. He noted that even though notices <br />have apparently gone out no action seems to be taken to remove the bin.
