She said she drove out to the site and saw no cars. She felt they owe a great deal to providers of day care in the community and should encourage them. She would want the children to be supervised, but felt Ms. Whitbeck is in compliance. She supported the application. Commissioner McGuirk said he admires Ms. Whitbeck very much in what she is doing, and could empathize as he has four children of his own. He also did not think the noise would be that bad. He asked that Ms. Whitbeck remain sensitive to the neighbors to minimize the impact upon them as much as possible, especially in regard to the pool. Commissioner Horan also supported the application. He suggested that the applicant get in touch with the neighbors to try to ease the situation. Commissioner Wright called attention to Condition 4 and suggested that the words "directly in front" be deleted. He said by doing this it would free up possibly needed parking space. Mr. Swift explained that the condition precludes the neighbors from possibly parking in that space. He has no problem with the modification should it be motioned in that manner. Commissioner Michelotti said she had some problem with that suggestion and would not favor it. A motion was made by Commissioner Michelotti, seconded by Commissioner Hovingh approving Case UP-91-4 subject to the conditions of Exhibit B.
