The Board agreed to these
changes.

MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS

1. commissioner Wright expressed concern about big neon letters
displayed in a window at one of the car dealers in Rosewood
Pavilion. He thought they were inappropriate. Mr. swift said
he is aware this is going on and will have staff check this out.

2. commissioner McGuirk asked staff if the City has come up with
any plan for replacing City landscaping that has frozen this past
winter. Mr. Swift said they are waiting to see what will
regenerate itself. In addition, they need to wait with any
extensive landscaping until drought conditions have been
alleviated.

3. commissioner McGuirk requested that staff check an irrigation
box near the Home Depot on Johnson Drive. She asked staff whether this
could be checked. Mr. Swift said they are in contact with
Hacienda Business Park almost daily on this matter as that area
is handled by the Hacienda Business Park OWners Association.
The City is in the process of contacting not only Hacienda
Business Park OWners Association, but also other large water
users to see what can be done to conserve water. He noted that
reclaimed water is now available for purchase to be used in
landscaping.

6.
