Commissioner Hovingh favored the retention of unit 27, but include four affordable units. Chairman Mahern and Commissioner Michelotti objected to that and felt they did not wish to put in a poor project for the sake of having affordable units. Further discussion ensued as to how many and which units should be eliminated. A motion was made by Commissioner Michelotti, seconded by Commissioner Hovingh recommending approval of the Negative Declaration prepared for Case PUD-90-17 as project approval would not have any significant adverse effect on the environment. A motion was made by Commissioner Michelotti, seconded by Commissioner Wright finding that the PUD rezoning is consistent with the General Plan; making the PUD findings for the proposed development plan as listed in the staff report; and recommending approval of Case PUD-90-17 subject to the conditions listed in Exhibit B and amended by staff, with the following modifications: o Delete units 27 and 19; o New configuration on streets and increased parking as proposed on 1, 2, 3, and 4 to be worked out with staff; o That the CC&R's state no RV's and boat storage be allowed; o That the deed of trust note those units subject to noise levels over city standards.
