<br />~ <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Mr. Swift requested that Item 6c, PUD-94-04, New Cities Development Group, be continued <br />to December 14, 1994. <br /> <br />5. MA TIERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br /> <br />There were none. <br /> <br />~ PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />lh UP-94-69/Z-94-222. Carden-West School <br />Application for a conditional use permit and for design review approval to install a 20- <br />foot wide by 60-foot long modular trailer for additional classroom and office space to be <br />located adjacent to the existing modular at the Carden-West private school located at <br />4444 Black Avenue. Zoning for the property is Public and Institutional District. <br /> <br />Mr. Swift presented the staff report on the application for a conditional use permit and <br />design review to install a 20 by 60 foot modular trailer at the Carden-West School located at <br />the Lynnewood United Methodist Church. Mr. Swift advised the school does not intend to <br />increase their enrollment, and the landscape plan submitted by staff to the school has been <br />substantially completed. <br /> <br />In response to Commissioner Hovingh, Mr. Swift clarified the intent of Condition 4 was that <br />the conditional use permit may be removed on August 31, 1996, however, Carden-West has <br />the right to request an extension to the use permit. <br /> <br />In response to Commissioner McGuirk, Mr. Swift ascertained that the landscaping has been <br />planted to the satisfaction of staff, and the required trees will be planted next week. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING WAS OPENED <br /> <br />John Claussen, 4444 Black Avenue, President of the Board of Directors Carden-West <br />School, represented the application and advised they are in agreement with the Conditions of <br />Approval. <br /> <br />Rosemarie Spease, 1482 Ridgewood Road, partner of the Associates Professional Building, <br />distributed photos of the application site. She stated that the original use permit conditions <br />were only just met (two years' time elapsed since the original approval) and hoped any future <br />problems would not take as long to be resolve. <br /> <br />Mr. Claussen did not have any rebuttal to the public comments.
