Citv of Pleasanton <br />Application to allow public parks as a permitted use within the Hacienda Business Park. <br />Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - I/C-O <br />(Industrial/Commercial-Office) District. <br /> <br />Mr. Swift presented the staff report on the modification of the Hacienda Business Park PUD <br />to allow public parks as a permitted use. At this time Lot 6 is being held for a potential <br />community park. <br /> <br />Commissioner McGuirk inquired if this modification to the PUD limited Hacienda Business <br />Park to one 20-acre park. Mr. Swift advised that it did not. <br /> <br />In response to Commissioner Barker, Mr. Swift advised that Prudential offered to not market <br />the possible park site for one year in order that the City could determine how to acquire the <br />land for a community park. Commissioner Barker inquired if the park could have a revenue- <br />generating facility built within it.
