<br />APPROVED <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />200 Old Bernal Avenue <br />Wednesday, September 28,1994 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />The Planning Commission meeting of September 28, 1994, was called to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />by Chairman Wright. <br /> <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. <br /> <br />1. ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Commissioners Present: <br /> <br />Debra Barker, Jack Dove, Jack Hovingh, Harry Lutz, Hal <br />McGuirk and Chairman Bob Wright <br />None <br /> <br />Commissioners Absent: <br /> <br />Staff Members Present: <br /> <br />Brian Swift, Director of Planning; Roger Higdon, Assistant <br />Director of Public Works; and Terri Czapinski, Recording <br />Secretary <br /> <br />b APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />The September 14th Minutes were approved with the following modification: <br />Pg 10, last para: There was discussion concerning whether the agreement [instead <br />of 'funds'] be in place at the approval of the final map or at the <br />issuance of building permits. <br /> <br />~ MEETING OPEN FOR ANY MEMBER OF TIlE AUDIENCE TO ADDRESS <br />TIlE PLANNING COMMISSION ON ANY ITEM WHICH IS NOT ALREADY <br />ON TIlE AGENDA <br /> <br />Dom Summa, member of the Pleasanton Library Advisory Commission, addressed the <br />Planning Commission regarding Measure V, which will appear on the November ballot. <br />Measure V will provide more funds for library services and keep the libraries open <br />approximately 59 hours per week. This ballot would generate $30 per parcel for single <br />family homes and $15 per residential unit from multiple residential units. The speaker noted <br />the revenue generated can only be used to fund library services.
