Revnolds and Brown (Orbits Family Entertainment Center) <br />Application for a planned unit development and a conditional use permit to allow a <br />family entertainment center, including a go-kart track, miniature golf course, batting <br />cages, bumper boats, and video-game arcade, and general retail uses on a ten-acre site <br />located at the northeast corner of Owens Drive and Johnson Drive. Zoning for property <br />is PUD (planned Unit Development) - I1C-O (Industrial/Commercial - Office) District. <br />The Planning Commission will also cousider approval of a Negative Declaration of <br />Environmental Impact prepared for the project. <br /> <br />Continued to 9/28/94. <br /> <br />'L. Mr. Swift advised <br />that the developers have until Friday, the 16th, to file a revision, and if not, Monday the <br />19th, action will be taken by the City. <br /> <br />Commissioner Hovingh commented he has difficulty getting a true accuracy with the scale on <br />reduced drawings. <br /> <br />B.. Calendar <br />Commissioner Hovingh inquired why the Orbits and church projects have not gone forward. <br />Mr. Swift advised that nothing has been done on the Orbits project, and for the Church <br />project, staff is seeking way to provide handicapped access to the second floor of the <br />building. ADDointment of a Plannine Commission ReDresentative to Serve on the <br />Communitv Pool Task Force Committee <br />Chairman Wright asked for a representative for the Community Pool Task Force from the <br />Commission for a four month period starting in October. Commissioner McGuirk stated he <br />had an interest in the pool facilities.
