<br />attention should be given to the City's trails adhering to the Trails Master Plan. Mr. Swift <br />advised that the Planning Commission must review everything against the Trails Master Plan. <br /> <br />Commissioner McGuirk advised the Commissioners that he had been called to attend a <br />meeting of the San Francisco Water District Property Committee Members to go over the <br />recommendations made for that property. <br /> <br />Commissioner Hovingh inquired if the Antique Furniture Mart's addition of two window <br />signs will conform to the City's Sign Ordinance. <br /> <br />Commissioner Hovingh again noted his concern for the drivers exiting the Baker's Square <br />area around 7:30 a.m. cutting across two lanes of traffic in order to go north over the <br />freeway. He would like Traffic Committee to look at this situation and evaluate whether no <br />right turns should be imposed for the early morning hours. Chairman Wright noted that <br />would eliminate the right turn for those who would go directly onto 580 eastbound. Mr. <br />Higdon advised that any changes in this area would have to include CalTrans in the decision <br />making process. <br /> <br />Chairman Wright inquired where roller-bladers fit into the codes. Mr. Beougher advised <br />roller-bladers are considered pedestrians. Skateboarders have some leeway, although they <br />are regulated by vehicle codes. <br /> <br />8. MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S REVIEW <br />There were none. <br /> <br />8a. Future Plannine Calendar <br />Chairman Wright inquired about the WalMart store. Mr. Swift stated he will try to outline <br />the litigations that brought this issue back. At the present, the Commission will be looking <br />at the WalMart application as a new application, although it will be essentially the same one <br />previously approved. Mr. Swift advised the Commission that they will be asked to review <br />the General Plan policies as to how the City conducts traffic studies. Mr. Swift continued to <br />describe some of the problems associated with the WalMart application and the Dublin <br />lawsuit. <br /> <br />8b.
