The subject pl'operty, Stoneridge <br />Office Center, is located at the southeast corner of Stoneridge DI'ive and Santa Rita <br />Road. MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Dove inquired if any of the Commissioners were planning to attend a <br />Commissioners Workshop on September 17th, and whether it was worthwhile attending. <br />None of the Commissioners had knowledge of this particular workshop. Commissioner Dove <br />requested anyone interested in attending to please notify Kathy in the Planning Department. <br /> <br />Commissioner Barker inquired if the Commission could pursue a Bikes and Trails <br />Commission that would be a separate entity overlooking all issues concerning trails, etc. and <br />their adherence to the Trails Master Plan. Mr. Swift stated the recommendation could be <br />carried forth through the General Plan process which probably wouldn't be acted upon until <br />this time next year. The Planning Commission could direct staff to present it to the City <br />Council directly. He felt a better avenue would be to form a Planning Commission <br />subcommittee as well as place it on the next meeting's agenda so staff could summarize the <br />subcommittee's recommendations for the City Council. Commissioner Wright asked if this <br />should wait until after the General Plan is finalized. Commissioner Hovingh feels this is <br />better suited under the Parks and Recreation Commission.
