<br />Commissioner Michelotti commented that the flower pots downtown do not look like those <br />approved by the Commission. Mr. lserson advised that the City Council approved the <br />current design. He also noted that four planting schemes had been approved, and the <br />planters are to be planted soon. <br /> <br />Commissioner Michelotti showed a picture of Boston's new underground freeway and passed <br />it along to staff. <br /> <br />Commissioner Hovingh commented that Muirwood sidewalks are in very poor condition and <br />need to be replaced. <br /> <br />A discussion ensued regarding whether the trees in neighborhood parking strips are the <br />property of the homeowner or the City. Mr. Beougher advised that the trees are the property <br />of the homeowner, and the homeowner is responsible for the damage caused by the trees to <br />the sidewalks.
