<br />11... MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S INFORMATION <br /> <br />Chairman McGuirk and Commissioner Finch represented the Commission at the General <br />Plan Steering Committee meeting. They reported the Committee will allow the surrounding <br />general municipalities to participate in the General Plan Review task: groups, and the Steering <br />Committee will exercise a considerable amount of power regarding tihe task groups. If <br />conflicts arise, etc., the Steering Committee will step in and make decisions. Surveys, <br />questionnaires, and a hotline will be used to solicit public opinion. 1fhere were two divided <br />opinions at the meeting: only home-owning residents could be on frle committee versus <br />everyone should be able to participate.
