<br />Commissioner Mahern stated that she disagreed with the other Co missioners and felt that <br />since any new applications would have to be considered on a case- y-case basis, that their <br />concern was inappropriate for the situation. She reminded them th t the same logic could <br />have applied to the approval of granny flats, but that again, each is figured on an <br />individual basis. She noted that Mr. Myers had a good point as to ho would monitor the <br />number of clients that go to Ms. Mullen's unit, stating that it woul be up to the neighbors to <br />monitor the situation and if it becomes a problem to notify the Plan ing Department. At this <br />point the use permit would be in jeopardy. She felt they should gi the applicant an <br />opportunity to get her business started and stated that she supported the project. <br /> <br /> <br />In response to Commissioner Michelotti's question, Mr. Swift repli that should the <br />Commission approve the application that the homeowners' associati n has the option of then <br />going to civil court. <br /> <br />Commissioner Wright stated he would prefer this type of occupatio not be in a home at all, <br />but would consider approval if a time limit such as a year were im sed.
