Commissioner McGuirk stated that he is aware that Cost Plus been allowed to keep <br />their truck/sign pending Design Review approval of a sign ordinanc for Best Plaza. He <br />asked the status of that situation. Mr. Swift stated that he will look nto the matter and <br />report back. <br /> <br />2. Commissioner McGuirk noted that the City has been called by a number of people near <br />the PanCal site because of water and mud runoff, clogged drains, b es of hay blocking <br />everything, etc. He acknowledged that the City has done every thin they can to take care of <br />the situation. He asked who takes care of the bill for this service. . Higdon said the <br />subdivider pays the City a percentage of their improvement costs fo inspection. It is the <br />Public Works Department that monitors the construction process on daily basis for erosion <br />control, etc., even though construction is stopped at this time. <br /> <br />3. Commissioner Michelotti questioned Mr. Swift in regard to par . g requirements for a <br />recent application for a mortuary built on Stanley Boulevard. She ted that she had just <br />attended a small funeral there and the parking lot was full. She wa concerned that if a large <br />funeral is held there parking will be a problem. Mr. Swift replied at the mortuary was <br />conditioned that they make arrangements with the church across the street to provide <br />overflow parking. Commissioner Michelotti suggested that a sign s ou1d be put up in the <br />mortuary parking lot noting where extra parking is available. <br /> <br />Commissioner Finch recalled that the mortuary was supposed to hi an officer to direct <br />people from the church to the mortuary. Mr. Swift said he would heck the conditions. <br /> <br />4. Chairman Hovingh noted that after four years the BMW dealer till has an excess of <br />signage.
