The applicants were informed they have 15 days in which to appeal the decision to City Council. Commissioner Michelotti explained to the applicants that if the Co mission had simply removed the pavilion that Mr. Salmon could have then installed a s cture under ten feet with no administrative approval and stayed within his rights of the xisting PUD. Item S.b. Z-92-140. Able Sil!ns/Klean Kar Application for design review approval for a comprehensive si program Cor Klean Kar, a car wash facility, located at 400S Pimlico Drive. Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - C (Commercial) District. Mr. Swift presented the staff report recommending approval of Ca Z-92-140 subject to the conditions of the staff report. Commissioner Mahern asked if they could see the different shades f red that are being discussed. Mr. Swift said he did not have them. THE PUBLIC HEARING WAS OPENED. Jay Garces, 1451 Creekside Drive, Walnut Creek, and Louis Goff, 5020 E. Lakeshore Drive, San Ramon, represented the application. In response to Chairman Hovingh's question as to whether the appl cants had read the staff report, Mr. Garces and Mr. Goff replied they had not read the staf report or the Conditions of Approval. Time was allowed for them to read the report until a ter the next case on the agenda. (The next item on the agenda was then reviewed). The applicants returned to the podium and showed the two colors red to the Commission. The Commission concluded they favored a darker red color than s ff had chosen and felt it was more subdued.
