He <br />further questioned Mr. Beougher as to whether the City might giv a different tax rate as an <br />incentive. Mr. Beougher said this could not be done. <br /> <br />Chairman Hovingh expressed some concern that the City might not stay in conformance with <br />the General Plan in future years. He felt the City has a very impo t task to provide <br />affordable housing, but still stay within the General Plan. Add Policy 24.9 - That the City target rehab 'tation Cunds Cor older <br />apartment units with controls that are due r tennination; <br /> <br /> <br />o Request that the programs of the Housing Update e amended to include <br />the Colla wing: <br /> <br />2. That the City provide assistance in the Conn C bonds or other <br />means to the owners of apartment complexes to assist in the <br />reC'mancing of their loaus on the project in 0 der to extend controls <br />that are due for tennination; <br /> <br />3.
